All papers must be original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. All accepted papers, both those for oral and for poster presentation, must be prepared as indicated below and will be published in the proceedings.

REGISTRATION
NEW IEEE/COMSOC POLICY: All accepted GLOBECOM 2005 technical paper presenters must register at the FULL or LIMITED rate. For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL or LIMITED registration is valid for up to three papers. Approved by the ComSoc Meetings and Conferences Board 24 June 2004.

VISA INSTRUCTIONS AND ASSISTANCE
Do not delay in making VISA arrangements for entry into the United States if needed. Such arrangements are the responsibility of authors and other participants.

PAPER SUBMISSION

EDAS has reviewed your paper and you are done with EDAS.
IEEE Conference eXpress Site will be open from July 5, 2005. We must receive your paper by September 1, 2005 for it to be in the proceedings . If you are registering by fax, please allow 3 working days to receive your "Attendee ref #".

SUBMIT YOUR COPYRIGHT TRANSFER
After you upload your final paper, a link will appear Submit Copyright" that will enable you to complete the IEEE e(electronic)Copyright form. When you receive your confirmation email, you will not need to fax or mail this form.

REPRINT AND OVERLENGTH FORMS:
If you wish to purchase reprints of your paper , please complete the Reprints form and remit payment by November 1, 2005. If your paper is longer than 5 pages, please complete the Overlength Form and remit it with payment by November 1, 2005. Please send the forms by 1-212-705-8996 (Joseph Cuccaro)

CRITICAL: You must upload the final version of your source file and complete the copyright transfer no later than September 1, 2005 noon EST. If you fail to comply, the paper will be dropped from the progam. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE.

PREPARATION OF ORAL PRESENTATION AND POSTER PRESENTATION
Session Assignments Accepted papers are assigned to specific sessions and will include both oral and poster presentation formats. Assignments are found in your acceptance notification and on the EDAS site. The session reference code designates the day (T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, and R=Thursday) in the first position, the oral or poster assignment (number for oral presentation and P for poster presentation) in the second position, and the time of the presentation in the third position (see Conference Program for details).

Audio - Visual
Each technical session room will be set with an LCD projector, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer. Please bring your own laptop. Speaker rehearsal room with LCD projector will be available from Monday 28 - Thursday December 1 from 8:00 - 18:00 for presenters who wish to rehearse their presentations. The room will be located in the Renaissance Hotel. (Check on-site program for exact location).


Poster Presentation
Watch for additional information on this site. The poster session room will be set with poster boards and a small table. The poster paper material must fit in a 4'x4' space
(two posters will share one side of a 4'x8' poster board. Thumb tacks to attach the papers will be available. The poster must be up before the start of the listed poster session times and an author must be present during a designated 30 minute period.
